Vehicular Assault or Vehicular Manslaughter

Vehicular assault and vehicular manslaughter are crimes that are punished heavily in the state of New Jersey, and when alcohol is involved, the penalties may be significantly increased. Upon conviction, it may be possible to spend years in prison and pay thousands of dollars in fines. If you have been charged with vehicular assault, vehicular manslaughter or another assault related crime, you need a tough and experienced defense lawyer on your side.

I am a former New Jersey deputy attorney general and former Atlantic County assistant prosecutor. Now that I focus my practice exclusively to criminal defense, I have helped clients charged with a wide range of offenses in Atlantic City, Ocean City, Avalon, Sea Isle, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, Atlantic, Cape May County and throughout the state of New Jersey, including vehicular homicide and vehicular assault involving drunk driving. I understand what you are faced with and will build a strong case to protect your rights. After an arrest, the most important step to take is to speak with a lawyer as soon as possible. Contact my office to speak with me about your circumstances.

Vehicular Assault or Vehicular Homicide Involving Drugs or Alcohol

When an injury occurs because a person was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the severity of any charge increases considerably and may elevate up to felony charges. If you have caused an accident by driving under the influence, and seriously injured another person as a result, you will likely face charges for vehicular assault.

If the accident was fatal for another driver or passenger, you may be charged with vehicular homicide. This is also a serious felony offense that carries strict penalties, including prison time, upon a conviction.

Criminal Defense for Vehicular Assault or Manslaughter & Other Crimes

If someone was injured or killed as the result of an accident in which you were alleged to have been involved, you need experienced criminal defense now. In the criminal courts of Atlantic County and Cape May County, I have successfully handled a wide range of criminal cases for my clients involving drunk driving accidents with bodily injury.
